A short progressive and melodic deep house prelude introducing the Leopard Del Sol project.

This recording came together during a beautiful weekend spent with my romantic partner, Wildflower, who was sitting beside me as I recorded. She calls me Tiger, and I call her Flower. The meeting of those names became the image at the center of the title: a Tiger Lily heralding the arrival of the Sun Leopard.

Her presence became part of the music for me. Not as something separate from the recording, but as part of the warmth around it: closeness, affection, care, and the simple beauty of existing together in the moment.

The set moves through warmth, connection, discovery, and the joy of being alive. It invites possibility and new horizons while holding the impermanence of the moments we share.

“Desert Rose” carries a particularly personal association here. The image of the rose immediately reminded me of Flower, making it feel especially meaningful within this collection of music.

The set closes with “With You,” which captures something very close to the heart of this prelude: the feeling of being absorbed in the presence of someone I love. Sharing affection, caring for one another’s wellbeing, enjoying the beauty of life and nature, and allowing ourselves to simply be together.

Love, to me, is not about making time stand still. It is about recognizing the beauty of the moments we share while they are happening, and allowing ourselves to experience them fully.

This is not yet a full installment of Leopard Del Sol. It is a first glimpse into the project’s warmth, movement, and emotional landscape.

Here’s to the horizons ahead, the beauty of the present, and the people who make the journey meaningful.

With love, gratitude, and sunshine,
